Interactive Sketchbook (Required)
As part of this class all students are required to keep an interactive sketchbook on all the topics covered. This sketchbook will be a representative portfolio of the artistic and cultural aspects covered in this class. This project will be comprised of numerous daily activities with their own requirements and objectives.

Travel Brochure | Travel Brochure.doc
You and your group have been selected to make a travel brochure for the country or region of * * * * * * * * * * * * * *. To successfully complete this assignment you will need to include the history and culture, the five themes of geography, points of interest, and pictures and maps for the selected country. When completed you will present you brochure to the class. You will also need to use proper grammar and citation in addition to a bibliography for this task.

Artwork (sculpture, painting, jewelry, dance, music etc.) in the style of an artist, culture or region
You are going to create a work of art to demonstrate what you have learned about the art of a particular culture or region. Your artwork must demonstrate an understanding of that culture's style, meaning and purpose. You will then present your artwork in an art gallery setting discussing what you have learned through this project.
